Aesthetic treatment maker, Obagi, has announced a new alternative to Latisse for individuals who struggle with inadequate lashes. ELASTILash can provide patients with fuller, thicker lashes over the course of a few weeks. Patients should not expect any discoloration of the eyelid nor an effect on iris pigmentation.
A recent clinical trial of users of ELASTILash, a peptide-based solution, found that 70 percent of patients found their eyelashes to be fuller and thicker after four to six weeks of treatment.
ELASTILash is a hypoallergenic product and has been tested by both dermatologists and ophthalmologists. The treatment is available through a surgeon for home-use. To apply, the patient will generously brush the ELASTILash formula along the base of the lash each night before bedtime.
